Barrington Wins Science Olympiad States

The 2021 Rhode Island Science Olympiad Tournament was held virtually on Saturday, April 10th. 14 high schools from across the state competed in a variety of events to earn a spot at the National Tournament hosted virtually by Arizona State University on May 21-22. Science Olympiad is a national program that has members in all 50 states with more than 12,000 actively participating K-12 schools. 
​Results for the Rhode Island State Tournament were announced during a virtual awards ceremony on Saturday, April 17th. ​

Virtual Awards Ceremony 

Barrington took first place in eight out of the 16 events, earning first place overall by an impressive margin. The Eagles final score was 33 points, nearly half that of second place team Cranston West (61 - lowest score wins). This marks the 11th consecutive year Barrington has won Division C.
